Hendersonville Home Sold!

My partner and I recently listed a home in Hendersonville TN. We received a full price offer on it in less than a week.

The Hendersonville real estate market has always been one of the strongest markets north of Nashville. Hendersonville is in Sumner county, and has easy access to I-65 via the Vietnam Veteran's Bypass (386). But I'd like to make a point about this particular home.

When my partner and I first walked into the home, we were both struck by how nicely it was decorated. The decorations were simple, yet trendy. There were just enough pictures and personal items to make it cheerful and welcoming. The paint colors were warm tones, and transitioned nicely from room to room.

We made some suggestions for removing a few furniture items in one of the living areas, and a couple items in another room. The homeowners gladly complied. By our next visit the changes had been made. This home had the look and feel of a model home with all of its charm and style. The home was now set to be marketed. Within a matter of hours we had the home in the database with plenty of pictures to show of its beautiful features.

To us, this was a good example of how important it was for the homeowners to be open to suggestions for storing just a few of their items to open up one of their living areas. They were very open and cooperative.

It's hard sometimes as a Realtor to make suggestions like this to homeowners. We never want to make any homeowner feel as though their personal taste or personal items are unimportant or unnecessary. But when working to sell a home, homeowners and Realtors need to work together to make the home appealing to the general public from all walks of life, and with various tastes and opinions. When this occurs, efforts to market the home are much more likely to be successful.
